About

Art, one line at a time.

pla.plot is where my love for art and technology comes together.

Each artwork begins with an idea, translated into a digital composition and brought to life through the movement of a pen across paper.

I’m drawn to the human body, movement and emotions. I love exploring how simple lines can capture something that isn’t always easy to put into words.

Sometimes I like to take things a step further and add some colour, watercolour or other materials by hand. I enjoy mixing the precision of the plotter with the more unpredictable side of working by hand.

The Art of Repetition

A digital composition can be drawn more than once. But the physical process is never entirely identical.

Paper has texture. Ink behaves differently. Each line exists in a particular moment.

Even when I use the same design, no two drawings turn out exactly the same. Each piece has its own little nuances, and I actually like that.

The composition may be repeated.
The moment of creation cannot.

Behind the Lines

I'm Lenka Planietová, the artist behind pla.plot, based in Prague.

My creative path has been
anything but linear.

I started with an education in fine arts, moved into graphic design, and eventually found myself working in the world of software and technology.

A world seemingly far removed from drawing and painting.

But somewhere along the way, art and technology found their way back to each other.

pla.plot grew from that intersection. It brings together my background in visual arts, my fascination with digital tools, and a desire to create something tangible in an increasingly digital world.

The pen plotter became my way of connecting these seemingly different disciplines, turning digital instructions into physical marks, one line at a time.

A nonlinear journey,
drawn one line at a time.

Never mass-printed.
Always individually drawn.
